General admission to the Burchfield Penney Art Center is free to Buffalo State students, faculty, staff, and Burchfield Penney members.
Nancy Spector is a member of the 2015 Burchfield Penney Art Center docent class. Following a Bachelor in Science degree from Cornell University, Nancy went on to earn a Bachelor in Fine Art from the Art Institute of Chicago. After spending 17 years as an educator at Albright-Knox Art Gallery, she is now a Buffalo State graduate student working towards dual master degrees in Science Education and Art Education and is looking forward to a teaching career.
In this conversation Nancy will encourage the audience to examine how gender, race and ethnicity are portrayed in the work of Alexander O. Levy.
