Enjoy a tour around Buffalo's historic and beautifully landscaped Forest Lawn Cemetery. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about Buffalo's history, art, architecture, waterways, and most importantly, learn about the residents at Forest Lawn.
Did you know U.S. President Millard Fillmore, singer Rick James, and inventor Lawrence Dale Bell are among the many residents buried in the cemetery?
Join the Newman Center on the walking tour from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. to learn more. The group will meet at the Newman Center (1219 Elmwood Ave.) at 12:45 p.m. The event is free for students but reservations are required, so please call (716) 882-1080 or e-mail newmancenter@buffalostate.edu to reserve your spot today!
Please note: Comfortable footwear is highly recommended.
